Current nihilism, to caricature Nietzsche, diverts us from popular common sense. It distances humanity from true human morality. In its place, it imposes a debased elitism — elitist and narcissistic — along with the anti-morality that goes with it (an anti-morality stemming directly from narcissistic perversion).
Yet a simple look at life allows us to understand the importance of the people in evolution — the importance of "everyone" in making our world.
Always and at all times, the proportion of the various human groups seems identical. The percentage of leaders and executors, warriors and shamans, artists and workers, rational and emotional, gifted and simple-minded, has formed a constructive harmony — an ideal homogeneous structure for elaborating our evolution. Each one, rich and poor, merchant and peasant, reveller and ascetic, Westerner and Aboriginal, intellectual and simple mind, has a fundamental place and role in the construction of the world. In every society, human diversity seems perfectly well distributed.

The majority of human beings are well connected with their sensitivity and their capacity to love. Only an infinitesimal minority — those very ones who have the capacity to mock the disabled and who are in reality the true disabled of the world, even if they are socially perfectly well adapted — and we will return to this — because of a certain type of childhood, suffering or education, does not attain this sensitive aptitude.
This is why most people entering into contact with these human beings called trisomy persons feel their empathy sublimated. These are magical beings — and in their contact we feel this magic. We perceive their deep beauty and the power of the simple empathy they radiate.
For every sensitive human being, simple-minded persons animate in us our best feelings. Who, after having spent a few hours with "these different souls", could call them "useless" to humanity?

Even if fear obscures our mind, reason can make us understand the importance for society of our different brothers and sisters.
For example, the state of mind of the simple-minded person is the opposite of that of current ultra-liberals (those of the market) — a dominant system that in many respects represents the true madness.
The simple mind, for example, attaches no importance to the primary aspirations of certain of those called "powerful". Power, wealth, honours, elitism, clan spirit, domination — none of this approaches their sensitive mind. They are an example of affective fluidity and simplicity of feeling (which is not the case in this world in permanent battle for domination).
For the simple-minded person, others are others. They are not an instrument to be used as a slave, nor a stepping stone to access power. They are among the very rare human beings capable of resisting the formatting of the market. They care nothing for fashion, appearances and playing society's game. In other words, their existence is extremely precious to serve us as an example in the face of freedom.
The simple-minded person is also detached from feelings of frenzied belonging — attachments at the origin of most of our conflicts and racisms. They care very little about being Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Spanish, Greek, Corsican or Mongolian. For them all of this is accessory. In sum, they are already freed from the rigour of certain conventions that humanity is gradually shedding and will doubtless shed entirely when our unity is concretised. One can therefore say of the simple-minded person that they are the human avant-garde.

Ce n'est pas une utopie. C'est une trajectoire déjà visible, inscrite dans l'histoire depuis le premier primate. Lentement. Imparfaitement. Mais dans une direction.
