Paradise of knowledgeAll philosophy is somehow the end of the story . Paul Ricoeur, History and Truth .
A sin mercy. Let him who is without sin cast the first pierre.10
The Lord God made to grow the ground every tree pleasant to the sight and good for food, and the tree of life in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. (Genesis 2: 9)
The LORD God commanded the man, you may freely eat of every tree of the garden, but you must not eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you shall die certainly . (Genesis 2 :16 -17)
Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. He said to the woman God he said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? The woman said to the serpent, We may eat fruit from the trees of the garden. But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat, and you touch it, lest ye die . Then the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die, but God knows that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil. The woman saw that the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, she also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate. The eyes of one and both were opened, and they knew that they were naked and sewed fig leaves together, they made themselves aprons . And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the evening, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. But the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? He said : I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid because i was naked, and I hid myself. And the LORD God said, Who told thee that thou wast naked ? do you have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat ? ...
( Genesis 3)
The strength and beauty of the sacred books is undeniable.
For a large part of the philosophy, the sense of spiritual metaphors, is gorgeous . Their images are able to adapt to all ages and all major scientific revolutions . The philosopher knows that they are the result of considerable love for the divine. They result from a mystical power generously offered to humanity by thousands of deep conviction and visionaries. The sacred books have the talent to give everyone the drink they need .
Each time is a particular reading of the great spiritual books . A reading on the level of consciousness, with advances in philosophy and science height . Today, we can interpret the Bible in a much more pragmatic than in the past .
Take the case, for example, the passage on the Garden of Eden and the birth of sin.
Why god he grows the tree of knowledge in the garden where adam and Eve were to remain ? This is certainly not random.
If the creator has submitted our parents to temptation, it is because they needed simply succumb . They had to quit sinning a stationary world. A static world as devoid of the concept of "good" and "evil" and unconscious death.
Transposed to Darwin's theory, the transgression of Adam and Eve was a need to evolve from primate to human. do not crush the fruit of knowledge, humanity could not be . Without discovering the idea of good and evil man does not leave the stage of natural primate. No taboos and their transgression, the great metamorphosis of the human animal would have been impossible .
Our philosophy is that the metaphor of paradise must simply read backwards . The earthly paradise is not the place where we come from, but the place where we are going. The Eden is the world to which humanity is moving and in which our descendants will . For this, our species must acquire full control of its transgressantes impulses.

Lentement. Imparfaitement. Mais dans une direction.
