Delinquency and law — the evolution of justice.

The delinquent, as we said on the previous page, has participated in the evolution of law and legislation. They have contributed to making humanity what it is today.

But this long work of fighting against human abuses is not finished. A quantity of injustices still legal today will one day have to be condemned — nepotism, discriminating elitism, commercial manipulation, unjust and democracy-killing pressure groups... In short, all those spaces devoid of law where privileges and partiality can rush through. One day, all these behaviours will pass from the legal to the criminal.

The importance of the delinquent

As paradoxical as it may seem, humanity cannot exclude delinquency from its evolution. To continue progressing, law needs the combined work of the delinquent and the jurist. Certain individuals are needed to reveal the flaws and others to plug them. This self-blocking mechanism increasingly restricts the possibilities of abusing others. The evolution of law therefore implies the combined "work" of the delinquent and the legislator. Delinquent and transgression are still necessary to the progressive evolution of humanity.
