The delinquent is one of the principal actors in the evolution of law and human justice.

Mastering tendencies

With the help of prohibitions, morality and laws, humanity is gradually taming its behaviour. The progress of law rests on several forces:
1/ Social pressure (the gaze of society)
2/ Thinkers (philosophers, moralists, scientists, journalists and so on)
3/ Politicians and legislators
4/ And delinquents.

Thanks to this pressure, our species governs its aggressive and predatory impulses ever better. It increasingly masters its natural tendency to abuse others. But the law has not yet reached its perfection — every day, numerous unjust and immoral actions are accomplished in complete legality.

Delinquency and the evolution of law

Justice, politics and philosophy work toward the evolution of law and legislation. But they are not the only corporations acting in this direction. Delinquency is also among the great actors in the evolution of law. Like every human being, the delinquent prefers freedom to imprisonment. They therefore naturally seek not to be caught. They exploit all the flaws in law and justice to abuse within perfect legality. In doing so, they expose all the weaknesses of legislation. These weaknesses are then relayed toward politicians by mediating corporations. Politics and justice take hold of them and create the necessary laws. These transgressions then become illegal and the people find themselves protected.

Delinquency is thus a reality to be fought — but whose meaning must also be understood.
