"The world was born of love, is sustained by love, moves towards love, and enters into love."
— Meister Eckhart
God, in Universal Mechanics, is not primarily a person but a principle of unity — the ultimate ground of being towards which all evolution tends. This God is not separate from creation — God is the direction creation is moving in.
What all the great mystics have in common is not a doctrine but an experience: a moment of absolute union in which the barriers between self and world dissolve, and one experiences directly the unity and love that underlies all existence. This experience — ecstasy — is what Universal Mechanics proposes as the destination of all evolution.
The destination of the universe is unity — and unity is love. The atom seeks the molecule. The molecule seeks the cell. The cell seeks the organism. The organism seeks consciousness. Consciousness seeks ecstasy. And ecstasy is the experience of being one with everything — the dissolution of separation in absolute love.
"God is the name we give to the fact that the universe has a direction — and that direction is love."
— Universal Mechanics
Ce n'est pas une utopie. C'est une trajectoire déjà visible, inscrite dans l'histoire depuis le premier primate. Lentement. Imparfaitement. Mais dans une direction.
